Meaningful support when you need it most
By bridging extensive expertise in corporate operations with specialised knowledge in neurodiversity, Navigate Neurodiversity delivers practical solutions that empower talent and facilitate sustainable growth for businesses.
My approach combines rigorous, evidence-based workplace assessments with an empathetic understanding of neurodivergence—identifying barriers, implementing targeted adjustments, and ensuring organisations achieve both Equality Act compliance and measurable team success.
Hi, I’m Rebecca, the founder of Navigate Neurodiversity.
I set up this consultancy because I understand the workplace from two very different perspectives: the operational demands of running a business, and the personal reality of navigating the world with a neurodivergent brain.
My goal is simple: to help neurodivergent professionals stay in and thrive in work they enjoy, and to provide employers with the practical, realistic tools they need to make that happen.
The Professional Expertise Before stepping into the neurodiverse-space, I spent over a decade leading complex operations, managing multi-million-pound budgets, and delivering heavily regulated projects. From directing international expeditions to managing major funded initiatives in West Africa, my career has been built on risk management, compliance, and strategic problem-solving.
I understand the commercial realities that HR directors and line managers face. When I conduct a Workplace Needs Assessment, I don’t just hand over a list of textbook ideals. Because of my background in operations, I recommend adjustments that are legally compliant, commercially realistic, and seamlessly integrated into your existing workflows.
The Lived Experience My passion for this work is deeply personal. I was diagnosed as Autistic at the age of three, and today, I am on a continuous journey of rediscovering exactly what that means for me as a professional adult. Alongside my partner—who navigates Dyslexia and ADHD—I live in a proudly neurodivergent household.
I know firsthand the exhaustion of masking, the frustration of executive dysfunction, and the reality that the standard 9-to-5 corporate environment was simply not built for every type of brain. But I also know that with the right assistive technology, the right communication strategies, and minor environmental tweaks, neurodivergent individuals don't just cope—they excel.
Why Work With Me? Standard occupational health reports often rely on clinical jargon and medical models. I approach assessments differently. By combining my formal accreditation (OCN Level 4 Workplace Needs Assessor) with my own lived experience, I provide an empathetic, judgment-free space for employees to discuss their barriers.
I know what it feels like to sit on the other side of the desk. Whether you are an individual looking for the right tools to advocate for yourself, or an employer looking to proactively support your team and meet your Equality Act requirements, I am here to help you navigate the process.
